Our mission is to use the power of
music and video for a positive effect and
to raise awareness concerning our
nations youth through radio and media outlets. This will give a voice for the
need of Foster Care / Adoption awareness and to the urgent pleas of our nations
children in need. We will continue our mission, teaming with high profile
Recording Artists, Athletes and Television personalities to support and
highlight the many great foundations and organizations who unite in this cause.
It is also our mission to combat the molestation of our children’s innocence
that is all too often used with today’s negative messages in music. We will
supply these powerful audio/video tools for foster care/adoption recruitment
tools, presentations, PSAs and seminars.
While his career has taken
him all over the country and seen him sharing stages with other celebrities,
former Atlantic Records recording
artist Wayne Warner likes to be
defined as “Dad”. Being the “dad” of
3 boys (2 adopted and one in foster care), Wayne has always been grateful for
the platform his work has given him to talk about the often misunderstood world
of adoption and the amazing rewards of being an adoptive parent. It has also
added another dimension to the direction of his career.

In a hotel room after
a show with the group Lonestar, Wayne saw a show on television that began a new chapter
in his recording career. The show featured an organization called The Heart Gallery. Wayne became an
instant fan of the organization which highlights
the need for adoption awareness with beautiful images of children in need. The
show so inspired him that he produced and funded the Nashville All-Star project
“God Bless The Children” as a gift
for the “Dave Thomas Foundation for Foster care adoption and “The Heart
Gallery”. The video, shot by award-winning director John Lloyd Miller (director of Garth Brooks’ “The Dance”)
became one of the foundation’s most successful PSA campaigns and was
highlighted at Wendy’s restaurants across the country. Wayne states “it was a
career highlight, being able to make such a difference, by complimenting this
project with my love for music.” When asked why this meant so much to
him, Warner says: “I tuck my reasons in every night.”

Thousands of letters poured
in about the “God Bless The Children” project and the impact it had made. It
even led many to become new adoptive parents. It became easy to see the kind of
difference the power of music could make in a strong and positive way.

Along with his normal career works,
Wayne has since been asked to speak at several adoption and foster care events.

Meetings with PGA Golfer Kirk Triplett also served as an
inspiration for Melodical
Hearts. Adoptive parents and advocates Kirk and Cathi Triplett
formed the amazing Fore Adoption
Foundation (www.foreadoption.com).
“Kirk and Cathi have been fantastic
with their support, knowledge and guidance,” says Wayne. “They are incredible
people doing incredible work.” Rene Gunn
of the Gift for a Child Foundation (www.giftforachild.com) has been
another great source of motivation and guidance.
“Her energy, love and enthusiasm for the needs of these children is
contagious,” Wayne says.

Wayne Warner is no stranger to bringing the power of stars
together to make a difference. As a Melodical Hearts introduction to the
Nashville community, yet another all-star project was produced featuring “Major
Risings” radio driven single "Dare the World." Artists Bryan White,
Linda Davis, Mila Mason, Mark Collie, Kevin Sharp, Jimmy Fortune, John Berry
and Willie all joined Wayne for the song and album promoting unity and songs
with positive messages. This was a great follow up to the tremendous and
continued response to the "God Bless the Children".

Hi Wayne,
Just wanted to touch base
and let you know again how great it was meeting you today. You were very
well-spoken on the radio, and I appreciate that you took the time to
drive home how important the needs are in our community. WLVB listeners
have heard me say it plenty of times, so I thought it would be better coming
from a different voice!
I really appreciate this
wonderful offer you made to us. I'm getting excited about it, especially
seeing how quickly the phone lines lit up when the freebies were being given
out. It's pretty powerful stuff.

Northeast Kingdom native Wayne Warner is finally able to bring his work home
with him, and he could not be happier.
Warner, a well known performer in the country music world, has joined forces
with 15 other professionals to make one album that will feature some newer
Christmas tunes and some old favorites.
Half of the proceeds from the album will benefit Melodical Hearts, an
organization that promotes adoption, and the other half will benefit each
artist’s individual charities. For Warner, those charities are the United
Christian Academy (UCA) and Vermont’s North Country Chamber of Commerce.
During a recent interview, Warner said he is pleased the album he played a key
role in will feature some of his favorite performers he listened to on WIKE as
a youngster.
Those artists include Aaron and Thea Tippin, Jimmy Fortune, Jackson Grainger
and Mila Mason, Linda Davis, Shawn King, Kevin Sharp, John Berry, Dave Pomeroy,
Pam Tillis, Becky Hobbs, Alyssa Bonagura, Desert Heat, Lila McCann, Bryan White
and Kathie Baillie.
“To call these people friends and have them part of this album for Christmas is
a real thrill for me,” said Warner, who was able to get the other artists
interested in the project simply by calling them.
“UCA has a saying they want to graduate young men and women who are
un-swayed by evil and I think that says so much about what they’re all about,”
he added, noting that he also feels everyone is born with talent that not only
allows them to do great things, but requires them to do great things in the way
of culture shaping. “I think this project reflects that, and I am very proud.”
Even though Warner was the key player in the project, he considers himself as a
contributor and calls it an honor just to be on the album. His portion is a song
he wrote several years ago, “If I Believed in Santa Claus.”
UCA Headmaster Dr. Richard
O’Hara said his initial response after being contacted about the project was,
“Wow,” but he was concerned whether the school could fully endorse it.
“We have certain values that are parcel of our educational program and
process,” he explained. “It’s very seldom there is a project where every single
element is doing something positive, usually there are tradeoffs.”
But in this case, all of the proceeds go towards good organizations, such as
UCA, which will use the funds to make tuition affordable, said O’Hara.
“We don’t want to be a $12,000 a year private prep school,” he said. “We want
this to be a school for children who live locally.”
Tod Pronto, executive director of Vermont’s North Country Chamber of Commerce,
said the project is a way to promote other non-profits as well as its own.
“This is not making one person a boat load of money,” he said. “This is going
to change tons of non-profits across the nation.”
O’Hara also pointed out the project will provide a product that can be used
over and over.
The album and DVD set is expected to be available from UCA and the Chamber of
Commerce this week

CURRENT PROJECTS:
PROJECT 50 FILES and A MAJOR RISING
As with “GOD BLESS THE CHILDREN”, Project “ 50 FILES”
is a song and video to be used as a tool for adoption awareness. The deep
lyrics are written from the point of view of a “Child in a File” and represents
all 50 states. The song speaks with heart-tugging and powerful lyrics.
Project 50 FILES
Lyrics
Wayne Warner - 04/06/07
Ohhh it’s cold and dark in here, in this world of
mine
My crying heart and lonely tears
Is missing someone’s arms tonight
Did I do something wrong, what am I here for
A heart just don’t belong
Tucked in deep inside life’s drawer
Chorus
I’m just a little child
Wrapped in a blanket called a file
Won’t someone make me their own
At night I lay me down to sleep
I pray for someone to keep me
I can’t make it all alone
Won’t somebody take me home
Sometimes I play make-believe, pretend I don’t hurt
so
I pray someday I’ll really be
reborn in a heart and soul
I’ll love you all my life even though we’ve never met
Come take my hand tonight, I’m sorted here by
alphabet
A my name is Annie – looking for my family
We can be together if you make me your own
B my name is Bobby - looking for a mommy
I’ll love you forever
Oh won’t you come and take me home
A MAJOR RISING - THE
POWER OF MUSIC
Often, the power and the gift of music is
fashioned to target our innocent youth with mixed messages of negativity,
anger and despair. It is rewarding to know that we can make a difference by
meeting this head-on in its own forum with music
that matters. Many artists and friends joined Wayne for the song/video
“God Bless The Children” which
included Statler Brother Jimmy Fortune,
Taylor Swift, Kevin Sharp and many more. We will continue to use great
established artists in all genres of music as a means to reach a wider
audience. Our main focus will be to spotlight awareness for the adoption and
foster care arena, and to help support and highlight the many great programs
and people who aid in the efforts of getting these children out of the files and into a home. In
addition, Melodical Hearts is proud
to be joined once again by an amazing cast of country stars for a song with a positive message called “DARE THE WORLD.” Teaming with
B-venturous Records, Melodical Hearts
is thrilled to have all nine of these artists use this song to highlight the
many great charities with whom they work.

W. Warner, Mila Mason, Kevin Sharp, Bryan
White, Mark Collie, Jimmy Fortune, W.W, Linda Davis, Jason Grainger, John
Berry.
The song “DARE THE WORLD” went to radio with an
all-star cast, a great beat and a great message.

A Few Recent Letters Regarding The Impact Of “God
Bless The Children”
Thank you for the link,
Wayne! I know this song will be an encouragement to our audience.
I first saw it at the third annual Orphan Care and Adoption Summit sponsored by
Focus ont the Family, Family Life and Steven Curtis Chapman's ministry
Shaohannah's Hope in Colorado Springs last May. The room was filled with about
450 adoption and orphan care advocates; you could have heard a pin drop when
the video ended. It was obvious it moved that audience (and caused me and my
husband to begin the training to become foster parents!). I learned how to post
it to my blog (www.orphanshope.typepad.com) from You Tube.
Music has a way of moving people, and sticking in the mind of people to
continue its work. I think it would be awesome to not only have a hall full of
orphan care advocates be born on March 1, but also a musically inclined group
of advocates, all going around humming God Bless the Children!
Happy New Year!
Deb

Good morning! I am part of
an orphan care coalition in Sarasota, FL. We are hosting an orphan care
ministry conference to teach people the
many ways they can get involved in caring for the children. I would like to
show your God Bless the Children video. How can I get a copy?
I appreciate your assistance in this!

Hi Wayne, We were wondering
if we could use your video for our upcoming campaign? The Orphaned Children's
Foundation provides grants to families wanting to adopt a child. Thank you,
Sandra

I am a foster parent
and pres of our county foster parent association. This would be a great tool
for recruiting more foster parents. I would love a copy of this. You can reach
me on my work email at ???????@???????.org . I am an engineer at a Electric
Cooperative and have be involved with fostering children for many years. We
have biological, adopted, and foster children.
God Bless you for this song. It was great.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear
sir,
My wife and I have been foster parents for almost three years, and she recently
found your video on youtube. We would love to get a copy of this for the DHS
office for ????? County, Or. If they had been able to show this video, I'm
certain they would have had a better follow-through from the other people in
our training classes. As it is, we have a heavy meth problem here in the
northwest, and there is a huge shortage of foster parents.
How would I proceed in obtaining a copy on DVD?
CURRENT PROJECT
“Music That Matters”
It was this project that became the formula for our agenda
as it became overwhelmingly apparent that there was enormous power of a
three minute song and video and celebrity involvement. We were soon being
contacted from agencies everywhere for use of the video at seminars and as a
recruitment tool for this cause. It was expressed to us that this was a
powerful and unique approach with song and video as it can say things in
ways that words alone would struggle to do.
Melodical Hearts will be a
place for artists to come together to make CD's/DVD's to help agencies
EVERYWHERE to get the word out about Foster care/ Adoption at seminars,
websites, sales of albums etc.in a way that has never been done.
The ALL star feature video will be FREE to anyone
promoting foster care/adoption as a tool for getting people involved by
reaching the heart through a powerful song and video.
This will be an album with a TOTAL focus on Foster care/ Adoption
with A feature song and video done by ALL the artists.
The rest of the album will feature a song from each artist and video if possible. Most of the artists involved in this project will have either been adopted, have adopted, have been raised in the "system" or have been affected by adoption.
